Reflection of how I've improved!

When I first came to International High School, I was really behind. My freshmen year in Westbury High School sucked! I would always skipped and due to some personal problems I didn't start school until November. Therefore, I didn't learn how to write essays. I didn't even know there was different types of essay! I the only thing I knew of writting essays was what I learned from middle which is when writting indent & write in paragraphs. Now when I came to International High School, it was very difficult for me to get high grades when writting essays. Fortunately I had a great instructor that tought me well and I know beleive I am ready for anything! Being in Ms. Devaney class, also showed me and encouraged me more to write my feeling downs whenever I need some one to talk to and I may not have. I known enjoy writting!

Japan

Okay, we all now the hard situation Japan is experiencing now. They recently went trough a massive earthquake which led to a Tsunami. Besides the devastating Tsunami and earthquake, which cause power to go out, the nuclear power points have been exploding and some citizens have been contaminated with radiation. http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/international/countriesandterritories/japan/index.html "Auto plants, electronics factories and refineries shut, roads buckled and power to millions of homes and businesses was knocked out. Several airports, including Tokyo’s Narita, were closed and rail services halted. All ports were shut."(dawn.com) http://www.dawn.com/2011/03/11/japan%E2%80%99s-economy-post-quake.html The wholecatastrophe is like a food web. If the producer is affected, it affects others like consumers then so on and so on. Theres thing we need from Japan that now they can't keep producing due to devastating catastrophe. "Assembly plants for Japan’s big three automakers — Toyota, Honda and Nissan — were closed on Sunday and planned to remain closed on Monday. Toyota said that its factories would be closed at least through Wednesday." http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/14/business/global/14yen.html
